Pre-Academy

Preschool is a special beginning to a lifetime of learning. Our young students learn phonics and math in fun ways, in addition to developing socially and creatively in a disciplined environment.

BJU Curriculum is the foundation of our Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten program at VCA. The bright, eye-catching books and materials provide an enjoyable educational foundation and inspire a desire to learn more.

You will have the opportunity to be an important part of your preschooler’s education through volunteering in the classroom, chaperoning field trips and attending special events

5-Day Pre-Kindergarten

(4- & 5-Year-Olds)

Language arts includes recognition of the name and sounds of letters along with the concept of short vowels and consonants, the introduction of phonics and reading, and manuscript writing. Blends and one-and two-vowel words, reading of sentences and stories with one-and two-vowel words, and formation of letters, blends and words are also included. Poetry and finger plays will be introduced as well as memorization.

Language development and listening skills include color words, shapes, animals, transportation, countries, community helpers, health, safety, manners and science.

Number skills will include counting of 1-100, number concepts using 1-20, numbers before and after through 20, largest and smallest through 20, and addition facts (+1 table).

Bible lessons include stories of Bible characters and children of the Bible along with memory verses.

Pre-Academy

5-Day Pre-Kindergarten: Monday-Friday mornings (1 class)

*Victory Christian Academy reserves the right to add, change, or delete classes depending on enrollment.

Current VCA families have priority until registration opens to the public in January.

Registration opens to the public at the Informational Meeting held in January.
